AlertU allows us to broadcast information, in real time, to the mobile devices of the students, parents, faculty and staff. Dayton City School has implemented GradeCam technology in every 3-8th grade classroom. GradeCam uses a mounted webcam to scan classroom tests and collect data to be used to aid instruction. Teachers are able to scan papers on the fly and discuss test results immediately. GradeCam also automatically posts student scores directly to Portal, Dayton City Schools online electronic grade book.

The LobbyGuard kiosk enhances Dayton City School safety by recording all visitor traffic, running instant background checks, printing photo ID badges, and providing access to visitor traffic reports from anywhere on the web. This technology combined with the 15 RF-ID security doors and 21 camera digital surveillance system, makes Dayton City School a very safe place to learn. Note to visitors: An offical ID is required to visit past the main entrance security doors during school hours.
